Jessica DaMassa

Jessica DaMassa has emerged as the ‘it girl’ of health tech interviewing. She brings an enthusiastic, fun, charming style, a ton of knowledge, and plenty of tough questions to her hosting of conferences, interviews, and videos focused on health technology and the business of health innovation. With more than 1,500 interviews in six years, Jessica is the ‘girl to know’ to meet ‘who’s who’ and find out ‘what’s what’ in healthcare innovation and technology. Her current project, ‘WTF Health – What’s the Future, Health?’ is an interview series that has taken her around the world to literally ask everyone everywhere about the future of health – and WTF is wrong with it right now.

Jessica is a regular host of CVS Health Live, CVS Health’s series that reports on innovative efforts related to current health care issues. And, in partnership with legendary healthcare curmudgeon and influencer Matthew Holt, Jessica also hosts a two-minute Q&A show about health tech funding deals called “Health in 2 Point 00” and just launched a health tech conference called “Policies|Techies|VC’s: What’s Next for Health Care?”

Jessica got her start in health innovation at GuideWell and Florida Blue, where she worked to advance initiatives that opened up new partnerships, investment opportunities, and lines of business that supported the health solutions company’s expansion out of its traditional health insurance core. Along with her interview series she launched her own consulting business in 2015, and has since provided business strategy, innovation, and PR support to a number of clients including GuideWell, a handful of lucky healthcare start-ups, a few accelerator programs, a medical malpractice insurance company, and a 3D printing company based in Australia. She is currently also an advisor to SAS as it seeks to expand its healthcare business to meet the needs of healthcare “disruptors.”
